March 12, 2008 - Today marks a three year anniversary since we’ve gotten a call from the adoption agency to announce that we would be parents. I can remember that day as though it were today. I was home from work sick and mom was visiting us and the phone rang, thinking it was another telemarketer I was rather rude when I answered the phone and then changed my tune immediately when I found out who was on the other end. It was the best day ever, well almost the best…April 29 was the actual best day.< ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” />
Classes are almost finished we have about four more weeks left. I don’t think I will ever sign up to take two accelerated classes at the same time again, I spend almost each night reading something or writing something for class. Thank Jesus it’s almost over at least until next semester.
Mike started working on February 25th at Delphi, he is working 3rd shift, so seems to like it a lot except he said he felt bad that we weren’t sleeping together. The first week he was working 1st shift and then the 2nd week he was on 2nd shift and that was so he could train with each person, I hated him being on second shift, we didn’t get to see each other except for the couple minutes when we woke up before I left for work. What is nice though is that we will get back into a routine again like we had when we were working in California.
This place has been freezing cold with snow. Last month I had enough of driving the pickup truck (Isuzu Hombre) in the snow and ice; it handled like poop I was the only one on the expressway going 35 to 40 mph; I drove like a little old lady who should of been in the passenger seat holding a wicker purse. Oh yeah, lost track of the story, anyway we traded it in and got a Honda Pilot and Mike loves to drive it and I love to go the speed limit in the Santa Fe. How exciting we each have an SUV now, we’re so like soccer mom’s now.
